Welcome to Dream hostel and hotel!
We follow the Finnish Hotels and Restaurants Association Mara Ry’s general operating instructions for booking
and cancellation conditions on all bookings. Please read the terms carefully. If you are concerned with any of the
conditions outlined or have any other questions, then please feel free to contact us. Same conditions apply to hostel and hotel reservations.
The booking made by the customer becomes binding after written or oral confirmation by a member of staff. If possible, the hostel will provide written confirmation about the services, prices and terms of cancellation before you arrive.
Bookings are valid until 8PM on the day of the arrival unless agreed otherwise. Please inform the hostel about a late arrival before the arrival date.
Groups (10 or more people) are requested to provide the hostel with a list of guests and possible allocated rooms beforehand.
Unless agreed otherwise, the rooms are available to the customer at 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and the checkout must be completed before 11 a.m. The luggage can be left in the storage room after 8 a.m. and can also be used after checkout.
In order to stay at the Dream Hostel every guest must possess a valid ID with a picture.
Guests, who have not registered in the reception, are not allowed to enter the room.
Age limit for dormitory room bookings is 18 years. Underage guests can book a private room, with written permission from their caretaker.
A late checkout is possible for an extra fee and depending on the booking situation. Please contact a member of staff for more details.
Accommodation is paid upon arrival when the reservation has been made with a standard rate. The whole booking amount needs to be paid when a reservation is made if a non refundable rate is used.
If needed, Tampere Dream Hostel will make an agreement about the payment conditions and/or the prepayment beforehand with the customer.
The hostel has the right to collect a reservation fee, which amounts to 10-15% of the total price. The reservation fee will not be returned, if the customer does not adhere to the terms of cancellation. The amount paid beforehand will be recompensed from the total amount.
Companies and communities have the possibility to pay with an invoice. The billing agreement must be done before arrival and can be done on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. There is a billing charge of 4,29€ added to every invoice.
SHORTENING THE STAY AND REFUND
In case a customer travel plans will change by shortening the stay, the customer can obtain a refund for the unused days by notifying the staff 24 hours in advance of the intended departure (before 2 p.m. on the day before planned new departure day.) Whether a refund is paid or not, depends on the reservation’s cancellation policy and origin.
By staying in Tampere Dream Hostel a customer agrees to comply with the rules of the hostel. If a customers behaviour doesn’t follow these rules, he/she may immediately be removed from the hostel and no refund will be given.
Pets are not allowed at Dream Hostel & Hotel.
Tampere Dream Hostel aims to accommodate members of a group, who have reserved bed places in a dormitory, to the same room. However, the hostel can not guarantee that all the members are able to stay in the same room, unless the room is reserved as a private room.
Any preferences of room arrangements must be notified to the hostel as early as possible. The hostel will try its best to adhere to your requirements.
The hostels social areas and dormitories are in use by all customers. Therefore, a customer should act responsibly and follow the rules outlined by the hostel.
The customer may cancel their reservation one day before at no additional charge, but by latest of 2PM before the arrival day.
Non refundable rate:
No refunds will be issued in case of modifications, cancellations or no shows. The hostel has a right to cancel a non refundable reservation if the payment is not done when making a reservation.
Some reservations provide an exception to this rule and in these cases restrictions to the cancellation would have been notified upon booking. Please read through the cancellation policy carefully.
In case of a ‘No Show,’ the hostel has the right to charge the price of one day to the customer and to cancel the entire reservation.
If you have made your reservation with another booking site (booking, air bnb etc.) contact them directly in case of modification/cancellation of your booking.
To get the group discount, a group size must be at least 10 people. Group bookings apply to the following
Reservation may be cancelled or modified so that the rooms/bed places will be reduced 30 days before the arrival date free of charge (potential booking fee will be non-refundable.) if otherwise is not informed.
If the whole reservation is cancelled or modified so that reserved accommodation places will be reduced 29 to 10 days before the date of arrival, the hostel has the right to charge 50% of the total booking value / modification value from the customer.
If the whole reservation is cancelled or modified so that reserved accommodation places will be reduced 9 to 0 days before the date of arrival, the hostel has the right to charge the whole booking value / modification value from the customer.
With group reservations, hostel has the right to collect a reservation fee, which amounts to 10-15% of the total price. The reservation fee will not be returned, if the customer does not adhere to the terms of cancellation. The amount paid beforehand will be recompensed from the total amount.
THESE TERMS ARE VALID, UNLESS THE CUSTOMER AND THE HOSTEL AGREE OTHERWISE. WHEN RESERVED THROUGH THE DIFFERENT BOOKING CHANNELS, OTHER CONDITIONS MAY APPLY. ALWAYS CHECK THE CONDITIONS WITH THE RELEVANT PARTIES AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. WELCOME TO DREAM HOSTEL & HOTEL!
